STEP 1. Create your Hostinger account

First, create your account on Hostinger or GoDaddy, whichever web hosting platform you prefer. You can create it by using your email address. Then log into your account. On logging in, you will come across the Home Page/Dashboard of your Hostinger account.

On the dashboard, you need to choose your website’s name from various available website name options present on its top right side. Choosing the name will show various details associated with your website. These include cloud professional hosting, domain, shared premium email, daily backups, file manager, databases, and visitors.

STEP 2. Visit Domains section

Now you need to visit the Domains section on the dashboard’s downward right side. On clicking the domain, the subdomain option opens, where you can create a new subdomains for your business website.

STEP 3. Enter Subdomain name

To create the new subdomain for your site, enter your preferred subdomain’s name in the space provided. For example, you can enter “Blog” as your New Subdomain Name.

STEP 4. Select the Custom folder for the subdomain option

Now click on the Custom folder for the subdomain option provided below the Enter Subdomain option. It will create a custom folder for your website’s subdomain.

STEP 5. Enter the subdomain name in the Directory 

In this step, fill in your website’s subdomain name, which can be “Blog” as an example, in the Directory section. Also, click on the Use public_html directory option followed by clicking on the Create option below, highlighted in green color. It will create a directory of your site’s subdomain. Here we have kept Blog as name of the directory. You can keep any other name of the directory.

STEP 6. View your subdomain and directory

You will see various subdomains and their corresponding directories. The subdomain “blog.vcanaglobal.com” you just created for your website will become visible at the bottom of the list of subdomains and directories.

STEP 7. Press the WordPress option

Now on the right side of your account, there is a Dashboard option below the WordPress; click on it. It will show your website’s subdomain “blog.vcanaglobal.com” adjacent to the dashboard. Below the dashboard, you will find information related to WordPress Installations in terms of Detect and Install WordPress.

STEP 8. Install WordPress

Now click on the Install option to install the recent version of WordPress to your business website.

Clicking the Install option will open a pop-up window where you will get to see various website credentials’ related sections. These include your Website’s title, Administrator email (Filled), Administrator username, and Administrator password.

In the various website credential sections, fill in “Blog” (your website subdomain’s name), ______ (your Administrator username), and ______ (your Administrator password). After Filling Them Click on “Next” Option.

STEP 11. Install WordPress

When you click on the Next option after filling in the required credential details, a new pop-up window of Install WordPress will appear. Here, you can choose among various options available under the Select application version and the Select language. Version 6.11 is recommended for you. Among the languages, choose English. Below the requirements, you will see the three Choose update schedule options. Our experts recommend you opt for the “Update only to a minor version.”
